This was established on 10 July 1999 and is based in the Villa Paolotti, an elegant, characteristic building from the late nineteenth century, already a historic wine producer, surrounded by a beautiful inner courtyard where a centuries-old linden tree dominates. Like the other Piedmontese Regional Wine Promoters, this too was created to promote and publicise the excellence of wine and grape growing in the region including how best to combine it with local cuisine, enhancing the entire region and developing conservation action and documentation on cultural, historic, tourist aspects of lower Valsesia.
