The museum of gold and stone work
As part of an interdisciplinary research project by the University of Turin to enhance the Bassa Serra area and the archaeological area of ancient Victimula, at San Secondo, the museum is a fascinating permanent laboratory for education, research and experimentation with the public. The objectives are to conserve and to restore the richness and the history of the places. The rooms are dedicated to working gold, to the trial of the witch Giovanna de’ Monduro, to the Resistance, with the massacre at Salussola on 9 March 1945 and don Francesco Cabrio. A special place is dedicated to the collection of ancient scales and lever scales.
